Quick Readme for Pollensalta - FF7 .p file Disassembler and Assembler -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Pollensalta is a .p file (dis)assembler which can rip the parts out of the .p file or put a file toghether from some parts... This is only a quick readme, perhaps I'll write a better one later... Options for Disassembler: Source File - .p file to disassemble create own folder - a folder will be created for the part files. create asm file - asm file will we created (file with assembler info) create bin files - parts of the .p file will be extracted to bin files If you leave all settings default, set a valid .p file name and click on 'Disassemble', then a *.asm file will be created. This file is needed to assemble the *.bin files back into a .p file. Then the parts of the .p file will be extracted into *.bin files. There should be 10 or 11 bin files, depends on if the .p file uses textures. Options for Assembler: Source File - *.asm file to assemble .p file from Destination File - *.p file to assemle to (needn't exists) Question 'Should Pollensalta check...' - checks if the filelengths of the parts are correct. You should answer this yes, only if you try around with hacking the files and you've added some data to the files, then you should answer with no. All files needed must exists, or Pollensalta will quit the assembling process. That's all for now. http://alhexx.cjb.net alhexx@gmx.de - Alhexx 20:23 20.08.01
